Historical Grapevine Research
This week we went on a walking field trip to Downtown Grapevine to finish up our unit on historical buildings in our city. Today Mrs. Vorachard helped us film using the green screen and we created our video. Click here to watch Mrs. Hall's class video. Click here to watch Mrs. Ganus' class video. We hope you enjoy it and learn something about our town.
Final Play Dough
Today we created the Play Dough we will give to Mrs. Walton. We added color and scent to our high quality play dough we engineered. We really enjoyed our work as chemical engineers.

Improved Play dough
We love having a space big enough for Mrs. Hall's and Mrs. Ganus' class to work together! We had a great student helper and had many successful play doughs. We are ready to use SCAMPER strategies that Mrs. Gable taught us to make a play dough that is a pleasant color and smells good.

Musical Information
Hello 2nd grade parents,
I can’t believe the musical is tomorrow Thursday night, November 15th! Students will need to be in the music room at 5:50pm for check-in. The musical will begin at 6:00pm. The entrance doors off Pebblebrook Dr. will open at 5:45pm. Please remember that students should be in school dress code. They will be on risers so their costume can’t take up too much space. See attached letter for costume reference. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
Musically yours,
Selena Garcia

Today we heated a solid block of chocolate until it melted. They we dipped a pretzel in and watched as the heat was removed the liquid chocolate turned back into a solid.
Number Lines
Today we worked on identifying benchmark numbers on an open number line. Then we coded the Ozobot to travel the number line and do different things at the different benchmark numbers.
