THANKS to all parents that have responded to this request!! We still have approximately 75 families that have NOT responded to this request about plans for next year. Even if you are not returning to Cannon next year, please let us know! If you have already submitted this information, it is not necessary to submit another response. Thanks SO much for helping us plan accurately for next year!!
The GCISD Special Programs lottery is coming up soon! In order for us to determine how many spaces in each grade level at Cannon will be offered through the lottery, it is very important that we collect information from all of our families about your plans for next year. Please note that any student currently enrolled at Cannon through a previous year's lottery does NOT need to apply for the lottery again this year, as they will continue to be enrolled at Cannon through 5th grade. Please take a moment to complete this information by using the link(s) below. Note that if you have multiple children enrolled at Cannon, please complete a separate form for each child. Complete form by Tuesday, March 7th. Thank you for helping us with this important planning information for next year!!
SHOWCASE NIGHT!

This week is our Student-Led Showcase Night, formerly known as Open House!!
Make plans to attend this important night, as your child takes the lead to showcase their learning from all subject areas with their parents!! Teachers & students are planning an interactive & informational event for all parents!
Also, please remember to stop by our spring Book Fair that will be open during this event!

Animal Characteristics
Today we worked our way through animal characteristics stations to appreciate some of the characteristics animals have that help them meet their needs but would be difficult for us.
