September Book of the Month Design Challenge

Design a model of a plant that grows up in the garden OR create a model of an animal or insect that lives down in the dirt. Your above ground model should showcase a root system, stem, leaf and flower(s). If you choose to create an underground model it should showcase the insect or animal body parts along with its unique adaptations. Both models should be designed to stand upright by itself and be no larger than 12 inches x 8 inches in size.
