GT Aspire Testing

GCISD Advanced Academics is now accepting referrals for Gifted and Talented  Program Services for grades 1-4.  Please access the application for GT LEAD and/or ASPIRE Academy for the Highly Gifted in each campus office or on the Advanced Academics page: Please Click on the Blue Badge  Applications must be returned no later than February 26 to your campus office or GT Specialist.

Testing will take place during the month of March.  Results will be mailed home in early April.

Field trip info

It’s Field Trip Time!  We will be going to the Ft. Worth Science & History Museum on Wed. Feb. 24^th.  The permission slips will be coming home today in your child’s folder.  Please complete and return to school.  We are asking for parent volunteers, however we have limited space, so it will be on a first come, first serve basis.

Student led conferences

Dear Parents,

         A note will be coming home today explaining what  student led conferences are.  The students are inviting you to join them where they can share with you their learning so far this year.  We will send out an email with a link to a sign up genius page where you can select the right time for you and your child.  Please let us know if you have any questions!
