Special Visitor

Today we got a visit from Kyle Roberts a weatherman with channel 8.  He told us all about his job.  He took a picture of us that he will show this Saturday morning on the news from 8:00-9:00.

Today we used the Little Bits to make working models of how day and night happens for a certain spot on Earth.

Patterns in the Sky

Today we continued to look at patterns in the sky.  We observed how shadows of  objects moved during the day because of the different positions of the sun.

Patterns in the Sky

Today we learned how the stars don't disappear during the day.  We did some experiments and found out the sun's light is just so bright we can't see them during the day.
