David's Law
GCISD is proud to invite parents to the "Cyberbullying and David's Law" presentation given by David's Legacy Foundation. Maurine Molak, David's Mother, will be presenting. This event will be held on Tuesday, October 25 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Colleyville Heritage High School Auditorium. Parents will learn facts of David's Law (SB179) and what it means for them and their children. Parents will also learn what to do if their children experience cyberbullying and how to empower their children to take a stand.

RESCHEDULED DATE FOR WatchDOGS Event!
On Monday, October 1st from 6:00-7:00 pm, we will be hosting a WatchD.O.G.S. Kick-off and Parent PTA Involvement Pizza Night event at our school! We will meet at the school cafeteria at 6:00 pm for FREE pizza and drinks. At 6:30, we will have a presentation about our WatchD.O.G.S. (
Dads
of
Great
Students).
WatchD.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is an innovative program being used by schools across America which helps them to be positively impacted by the committed involvement of fathers and father-figures in their student's life. Our goal is to have you spend at least one day this year at the school to be a positive male role model and to provide an extra set of eyes and ears. There are also may other opportunities for both moms and dads to get involved in our school this year and we are excited to share them with everyone!
In order to participate, you need to do two things:
- Complete the bottom portion of the form that came home with students last week and return it asap to let us know if you will attend, so that we can have an accurate head count for the food.
- Mark your calendars and show up on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:00 pm!
